Christian Movie Update

The Men of AIM Christian Movie Update started on January 10th, 2012.  The 60-second program will cover a wide range of topics related to Christian films:

• News of upcoming films or local events
• Insights to the ministry – and business – of Christian film
• Occasional Discussions with those involved with Christian films

Many of you may listen to other radio programs, such as Focus on the Family’s “Plugged In.”  Our intent is not to replace these resources – which usually review secular films near the time it is coming to theaters. Our goal, consistent with the overall movie ministry, is to build support and awareness of Christian films and do so in advance, so there is time to spread the word and support the film when it hits theaters.

It is hard to believe it has been over a year – and we certainly need to catch up on the archiving of shows (will try to do so in the next few weeks).

We welcome you to sign up for our Christian movie e-newsletter.  You can unsubscribe at any time.  Email frequency will vary from one every 4-8 weeks with general updates in between movies in local theaters, to 1-2 per week (MAX) with updates for a given film while it is playing in the area.

What is in store for 2013?  Well, one option on the table is to expand to additional radio stations, cities, or regions.  We don’t know what exactly this looks like but are excited to have WBNH fully on board with the project and we are praying about the next steps.

We pray this will tie together well with our efforts to encourage the planting of additional Regional Movie Ministries around the country.

Other pages on this site will provide trailers of films coming to theaters, as well as information about movie licenses for Christian movie nights with integrity.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

If you would like to support this ministry financially, we ask for first your prayers and secondly that you first support your local church.

Support may be one time gifts, monthly, or if you would like to give on a quarterly basis, we can send a “reminder” (not a bill).  Our ministry will  never say “Just $50 a month” – while large gifts are great, we would love to have an army of support behind us at $5 or $10 a month given quarterly as a reminder that they are thinking of us regularly, and not just continuing to give because it is deducted automatically.
