The Cross Builder is coming to Mattoon High School September 25th
Joe White has become famous for his remarkable rendition of a Bible times cross builder – busy at his craft.
The carpenter talks to himself as he continues to construct a 14 foot cross from real 10 inch logs. As he talks to himself, it becomes apparent that this cross was the one meant for Jesus Christ. Wood chips fly and sweat beads roll down the face of the man as this revealing scene unfolds.
The exhibition is a moving narrative, bringing home the reality of Christ’s sacrifice for us all.
FREE event – Love offering will be collected. Doors open 6pm. Story begins 7pm.
