Online Resources

Man in the Mirror

From the founding of NCMM to hosting Disciplemen.com, there is no other ministry I can think of that has done more to assist the local church and men’s leaders to disciple their men.   Their website is a treasure box of fantastic resources and bargains.  They have distributed literally millions of books through their Books! by the Box program and if you’re looking for Bible studies you could watch continually for weeks on their archives of the Friday morning Bible study.  (and if you’re ever in Orlando on vacation, head North just a bit and join them!)

disciplemen.com

Initiated in 2006 to serve as the “Consumer Reports” for discipling and other resources.  If you’re looking for a resource or speaker on a particular topic give it a shot.  Don’t just be a taker, however, if there are resources you’ve put together that you’d like others to know about or use, register and make it available to others.  Don’t go into the Battle alone – let’s lock arms and fight the good fight together!

Men’s Network

Started in 2009, this web page has some great Bible studies for men that don’t fall into the “church-ey” category where every answer is painfully obvious and you feel like you’ve answered it a thousand times before.  These guys realize that having hearts for Jesus never said you had to give up your sense of humor as well!
Men of AIM especially recommends “Stuff They Didn’t Teach Me in Sunday School” and “The Baloney Shop”

Battle Zone Ministries

A great website that will challenge your thoughts on discipleship.  Study and teaching does not equal discipleship.  Are we actively living life with another, and reproducing who we are with others – as Jesus did with his followers?

The “Show Me How To” series alone would make this website worth listing.  Take some time and watch through some of these.  For those you around Central Illinois you might recognize a few faces in the “Show Me How to Pray with Men”!
